On updates and whatsnots

Salam and hye to all,

Some of you might be wondering, why the hiatus all of the sudden.
While some of you already knew.

I'd secured a job, and have been working for the past two weeks. So far, the situation is good, the environment is much better than I expected, the friends are nice and the food is good ;) I mean the free food of course, since the first week I had my orientation and the following week full of back-to-back training courses. And there are more to come. We learnt about necessary softwares that we need to master i.e data analysis tools, probability and statistics, SPC, MSA, ESDA, and Basic/Advance MS Excel. I felt like the old times in school, minus the assignments and tests.Haha.

Officially being an engineer by designation really makes me and my colleagues flattered too. We were the typical newbies, high spirited and highly motivated, ready to meet any challenges. Wait until we get the first assignment by our bosses, then only we can tell langit tu tinggi ke rendah. Hee..

Did I mentioned I've been working in my most favourite field, the manufacturing cum electronics peripherals industry? I don't know why, but I prefer this field the most. Maybe because of its hectic environment, the fast-paced technology, everybody looks busy and important (and most of them are super genius cum workaholic), modern buildings, overstuffed cafeteria, meal coupons, cozy cubicles, clean toilets and the never-ending beverage supply in the pantry. Maybe because I had an eight months history of internship in a company quite similar to this one. The long lost vocabulary- cleanroom, jumpsuit, ESD, contamination, smock, safety shoes, particles, drives - welcome back!

I learnt the important techniques and tips living in a city. Like, the Smart Tag lanes in LDP toll gate are way slower than the normal lanes, and the best thing is for you to have a Touch n Go card and swipe it at any lane you like, which is of course with the less queuing vehicles. Do you know that all lanes, including the `Tunai Sahaja' lanes have TnG swipe box? And also, a ten minutes difference on the time you actually depart to work will make you arrive at work in ten minutes or in freaking forty minutes? Yes, welcome to the magical world of LDP and all the places in between. And the most important skill that I managed to adapt is, to try to enjoy the massive traffic jam every morning and evening. Really, several times I glanced at the car nearby in a traffic jam, the drivers were actually reading mags and novels. Yes, no kidding. But of course they're skillful drivers so minimum possibility of they ramming into the other's bumpers. For me, a fresh music or silly jokes by the deejays will do, and perhaps a quick breakfast too while driving. The keyword is; ENJOY.

I love trying things and meeting challenges, and my brother did not spare me any. When I want or need to go somewhere and I asked him the direction, he will instantly draw me maps and asked me to find out the location myself. So in my two weeks living in the big city, I already familiar with the LDP/Federal Highway/MRR2 (end to end)/Bukit Jalil/Shah Alam/Sunway area. Quite a personal achievement, I shall say. Tahniah ye Shahira.

OK enough of babbles, I'll write some more later.

Hiatus

Assalamualaikum and good day to all.


Always, it is not easy for me to create a post. One single post demands a lot of my time and energy. Often I spend several hours just to write an article in this blog, believe it or not. Because I don't want to write without a focus, or just rant about myself or my personal life. If you interprete this blog as my personal blog where I pour my emotions and thoughts freely, you're not quite right. I write more for other people than myself. Buktinya?? I have my own personal diary. Written, ok, not another secret blog. So don't bother to google it okay (haha).


So tonight, when I have the same awkward feeling where I want to write something but not quite sure what to write and where to start, I clicked on the links at my Archive, dated more than a year ago where I started to write in blogspot. Those articles were written during my internship time, and I think I write better those days compared to now. The issues are good, the elaborations are sharp and personal. At least, that's what I think. And I love to reread my previous posts for self-evaluation and improvements.

Books Review

I've been wanting to do this for so long but just recently I've got the chance.

You see, one of my all time favourite hobby is to read, and I do read almost all kind of books and reading materials available. I read the daily newspapers, my Mom's magazines and even my bro's football mags and his pile of fiction books collection. But I'm very selective when I am the one whom buying. The books that I would buy myself must worth every cents of my money (or at least, that's what I believe). Recently, my passion are simple literature, political, provocative and controversial non-fictions, civilization histories, self-development fictions and everything in between.

The above is my recent collection for the past few weeks. Yes you might see some quite `heavy' books judging by their titles but I assure you, those are very good books and they are not as complicated as you might thought. But after all, your choice of books always depends on your personal preference right?

The above book must be very familiar especially for the MPH, Popular or other huge book stores' regulars. Yes there is another one in the collection, the Khalid Al-Walid. I've got it though but I've misplaced it somewhere, nonetheless that means I basically have the entire collection. These biographies are very exciting with simple words, structured sentences and basic Bahasa Melayu usage in the writing, that made the wonders of constant page-turning like you are reading the commercial fiction books! Seriously, if you want a good sirah books that do not make you sleepy after 5 minutes, these are the good choices. You will understand better about Perang Muktah, Perang Tabuk, Perang Hunain, the details on how Salahudin Ayubi succeed Jerusalem and Tariq Ziyad succeed Cordova and the whole Spain. Without a doubt, these books are absolute must-have for sirah lovers.

Not all books that I bought meet my expectation though. Like the above book by Randa Abdel-Fattah, I'm hoping to buy a controversial fiction like her first one, `Do My Head Looks Big in This?' which referred to the conflict experienced by a young modern Muslim girl when she wants to wear a hijab (headscarf). But this one, really disappoint me. It even similarly written like a chick lit book which I used to read during my tender age. The conflict is about a young girl who have two personalities at home and at school, that she tried to keep her Muslim identity as a secret so that she won't become a discrimination victim and referred as `uncool' by her peers. I just don't like the story because I think it doesn't portray Islam in the best way. It may confuse the young reader on perspective towards Islam. Dah la buku tu mahal. Haha tak kesah la.

Despite its cute cover, this is another provocative and controversial book, but honestly it was quite fun. When I read this book, it doesn't mean I totally agree with the author. I just love to know and understand about other people's perspective on certain issues, although I'm never agree with her point of view. This book talks about liberal-view (is it the right term?) on the Muslim practice on Malaysia, by Malaysians. But seriously, you must equipped yourself with good, sufficient understanding of Islam first before you actually read it. Try to consult reliable ustaz, Muslim scholars, or pious, truthful individuals first and open up your mind before you read the book. Really, with it refers to Quranic verses and hadith every now and then,which might be translated differently from what you actually know, you might be confused yourself at the end of the day. However, I might recommend you to have discussions with other people regarding the book so you won't be self-absorbed in your own understanding. I did that too :)

Ok these are the books that I recently read, I even haven't finish halfway of each. Yes, my way of reading is to read fiction and non-fiction book side-by-side so that when I bored with one, I can turn to another. If you think `Tautan Hati' is the normal Alaf 21's alike novels, you are totally wrong. Try it first, then you will know what I mean ;) As for the `May 13', it comprised real documents taken in the secret chamber (that keeps confidential documents) in London, and unbiased writing on what actually happen then. Just can't wait to finish it.

Other books might take a few days or months or years for me to finish, Like Faisal Tehrani's `Tuhan Manusia' that needs a very sharp mind before you can actually consume what he's trying to convey. While `Pengembaraan Ibn Battuta' is the direct translation version of Ross E. Dunn's English version, I think you can imagine how complicated the sentence structure and everything. And there are several others that I haven't even finish, I just hope I can finish those as soon as I can. Nevertheless, I love reading good books. This is one of the most practical way for us to open up our mind and increase our knowledge that eventually will enhance our ability of thinking and maturity of actions.

So people, let's read ;)

Today, I am officially two-three! Terasa tua pulak



Thanks to all for the wishes, messages (erm, via friendster, SMS, third party or any other means), gifts, cakes, treats and prayers. Although celebrating birthday is quite unusual for me, lovely thoughts from friends and loved ones always cheer me up and make my day. Today's outing was fun too! Thanks a million ;)

THE DONUT REVIEW

(this is not so important, so you can skip this if you feel like it)
On other different note during the same day, we walked from KLCC to Pavillion just for these:

We were just so curious on other people's testimonials on this particular doughnut. Is it so so so delicious that made everyone queue-up all the time(as seen on tv, magazines and other people's blogs) ? First impression really captured us, although we went NOT during meal hours/school holiday/weekends/public holiday, the queue still and always exists. Oh extremely curious.


However,bak kata pepatah, curiousity kills the cat. Hazel even asked the kakak kaunter `Which are the best selling doughnuts?', but the kakak kaunter herself could not make up her mind and pointed at various doughnuts. OR simply because she malas nak layan kitorang kot.

Later on, we take turns and tasted each and every doughnuts, and commented on them. Someone insisted us to record our comments so some of us won't forget to put those in our review.Lastly, our honest opinions concluded as "OK la, kelebihannya adalah donut dia lembut la tapi takde la sedap sangat, agak manis la jugak.Kiranya takde la craving sampai nak beli lagi dan lagi". Maybe sebab kami high expectation sangat kot. One good suggestion from us is for them to come out with original and simple doughnut, without any filings or decorations, just simply plain. I'm pretty sure they will attract more crowd. No offense, okay, J-Co Donut lovers ;)

OK I'm done with my doughnut review, now you guys punye turn plak, Hazel and Jasa. Oh Hazel already made her review. Jasa tengok la, if she's not busy with her Project Runway (ahahaa I'm so jealous!!). Look out for their blogs ok people.

New Year

Assalamualaikum dan selamat sejahtera,

Salam Tahun Baru 1429.

Tahun baru ni ada beberapa perkara yang diharapkan akan berlaku (insya Allah) seperti berikut:

1.Akan mula kerja
2.Akan dapat gaji pertama
3.Akan mula kumpul duit untuk tukar the most significant liability
4.Akan belanja beberapa orang yang terpaksa dibelanja (hehe)
5.Akan mengamalkan pemakanan sihat (oats, workouts, more fruits, etc..)
6.Akan berbelanja secara bijak
7.Akan membuat kerja-kerja berfaedah untuk orang lain
8.Akan kerja dengan rajin dan ikhlas
9.Akan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan menambah amalan praktikal
10.Akan merancang masa depan yang cemerlang (ayat skema tak ingat..)

Argh malasnya nak start kerja! Rasa cam tak bersedia je.

Oh sebelum start kerja for good mari kita membuat reunions and meet-ups dengan kawan-kawan lama (Ci, bila nak qada' belanja aku ni?! Lain kali suruh bakal-bakal doktor tu je yang fix pastu kita follow je plan diorang.huhu) sebelum kita hanya akan berjumpa (most probably) pada hari kahwin masing-masing sahaja.Oh no, I actually hoped that we'd see each other more often ;(

Dulu waktu sekolah rendah, saya bercita-cita nak jadi cikgu.

Bila masuk sekolah menengah, up sikit, nak jadi pensyarah pulak.

Lepas PMR, tiba-tiba rasa nak jadi doktor. Jadi ambil kelas sains tulen.

Lepas SPM, dapat pula scholarship yang boleh tahan, masuk universiti untuk jadi engineer.

Dah habis belajar, kena pilih pulak, nak jadi engineer dalam bidang electronics/hardware devices ke nak join O&G field?

Consider minat ke, nak yang banyak cabaran ke, atau tertakluk kepada external factor(s)? (ehem)

Mana lagi nak buat master? (konon la.Eh tapi kalau nak buat pun, later or part time la, not for the time being ;)

*Bila di universiti, baru perasan saya tak sesuai jadi doktor sebab cuak tengok darah. Kesian tengok orang kena operate, sakit.Takut salah bedah kang, naya je.
*Bila di universiti, baru perasan saya tak berapa sesuai jadi pensyarah, sebab macam malas sikit buat research (kurang kesabaran) dan kadang-kadang susah nak terangkan konsep sesuatu. Yang simple, basic boleh la.

*Bila di universiti, saya struggle untuk belajar perkara yang saya tak berapa minat demi untuk dapat good grades dan grad on time (good grades ke? Huhu tak de la sangat pun). Tapi apa pun, lepas belajar 5 tahun, saya akui ada juga perkara-perkara yang saya minat dalam course ni.

*Bila di universiti juga, saya mula kenal strength and weaknesses saya dan sedang berusaha untuk improve for the better.

Well for me, life is all about making decisions, no matter right or wrong, as long as you have faith in yourself, try your best in everything you do and believe that everything always happen for some reasons, with Allah's will every decision will be the right one.

ISA and its perspective

I watched some hot coverage on the topic 'ISA dan perspektifnya' during last night's prime time news in TV3. The reporter asked a few professionals and political big shots about this matter, in short they were to give their opinions on the relevancy of ISA practice in our country. This issue was debated heatedly, especially when there were big issues happened. The most recent one is the Hindraf case. Or else, it fades away together with the unattended sorrow and pain of the detainees and their families in Kamunting, Perak.

Just a few months ago when Mr Malik Hussin won RM 2.5 million over the government for his wrongful detention and torture under the Internal Security Act (ISA), the nation had opened their eyes wide. That ISA is NOT NECESSARILY RIGHT. The ISA is no small issue to be neglected or just to be discussed only at a place and at a time, it's actually the lives of people who were never get into trial, and never are really proven guilty that we talk about. The ironic (but expected) fact that majority of the detainees are `coincidentally' the opposition political parties members which made the situation inconveniently understandable. As far as we know the authority never had the slightest intention to terminate, or at least review the ISA act as demanded by the thoughtful rakyat who care.

And now the ISA issue is a hit of the town again due to the Hindraf chaos. I think I not need to highlight again how bizarre the case is, where 31 Hindraf supporters were said to be charged of attempting murder, and days later, they were free to go. Next, it was the leaders turn, perhaps their fate is much worse. Five of them were detained in ISA. And in this case, ISA seems to be the best solution `for the sake of the country'.

Last night, when our beloved TPM was asked to comment on the latest Washington's critics on the Hindraf case, he eventually snapped back and said something like this "So can Washington actually explain their act on the detainees of Guantanamo? If they can, then we would response to their critics". OK, a safe yet heroic answer by our TPM but for me, it does not explain anything. Infact, I've been wondering, was it that hard in Kamunting that it is vaguely compared to the Guantanamo?

Whatever it is, I would like to highlight Raja Nazrin's response in this matter :

Q: The Internal Security Act (ISA), where a person could be detained if he is seen as a threat to public order and national security, has been seen as one of the measures the government could resort to. Your comment?

A: I hope it is used very sparingly, if at all, and only when there is a genuine threat to national security. It should never be used to stifle dissent.

I couldn't disagree more with his opinion. However to violate the human's rights and loose definition of a possible ISA victims such as "he has acted or is about to act or is likely to act in any manner prejudicial to the security of Malaysia or any part thereof or to maintenance of essential services therein or to the economic life thereof." as we can see in the paragraph below is just too much, don't you think?

Malaysia's Internal Security Act (ISA) is a preventive detention law originally enacted in the early 1960s during a national state of emergency as a temporary measure to fight a communist rebellion. Under Section 73 (1) of the ISA, police may detain any person for up to 60 days, without warrant or trial and without access to legal counsel, on suspicion that "he has acted or is about to act or is likely to act in any manner prejudicial to the security of Malaysia or any part thereof or to maintenance of essential services therein or to the economic life thereof." After 60 days, the Minister of Home Affairs can then extend the period of detention without trial for up to two years, without submitting any evidence for review by the courts, by issuing a detention order, which is renewable indefinitely.

If there are concrete reasons for the ISA to occur by any means, can someone prove it to me and make me understand, please? I'm just a little too confused here, like most of everybody else.

"Saya Orangnya"

The prime time news last night and the newspaper headlines today had said it all.
The man in the DVD had spoken.
Thus, it is expected that the high commision of MCA and also the country leaders would ask the man to leave for good, although the man says "I'm sorry, but I'm not resigning" (NST front page, 2 January 2007).
Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Khoo Kay Kim and Syed Hamid Albar (just mentioned a few names) thought he should go too, but UMNO Labis thought his heroic act for admitting the truth was worth more than his unforgivable sin (or in other words, they would support him through ups and downs, which also means he can still be their leader no matter what he'd done! Are they blind or what?)
What a pathetic way to start a new year with the election is just around the corner. Is this really a brutal coincidence, or what political strategy are they up to this time?

Let YOU, ME and the MALAYSIANS be the judge.
(I certainly don't need this kind of person as my leader. Do you?)

How many times you face a situation where you want to drive to a place, but you don't know how?

I always face this kind of situation, but luckily I have a father who is crazy about maps and roads (which explains his profession la kan). Recently he always promoting this website to the whole family,which he finds very helpful and convenient; the Wikimapia.
And I love it too!! Very interesting and convenient as well.
(Eh by the way, who says women can't read maps?? It's only the men who won't listen. Haha)

Yup, I know Wikipedia is very popular to us but Wikimapia, maybe only certain people have heard about this web.Come on, try it!Especially for ladies, well we need to know these kind of things too you know.

Mencantikkan SHOPPING?

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera.

Pagi Krismas ni saya bangun awal, kebetulan pula berpeluang tengok program motivasi Dato Dr Fadzilah Kamsah di TV. Ada pula soalan yang sangat menarik dari penonton dan saya pun sangat-sangat teringin nak dengar jawapannya, iaitu Apakah cara-cara untuk mencantikkan shopping?

Kelakar jugak dengar, tapi betullah majoriti orang perempuan terutamanya memang suka shopping. Siap ramai dengan bangganya mengaku shopaholic lagi. Yang ni saya tak faham sangat, apa la hebatnya menjadi shopaholic ni?? Membazir lagi adalah..(no offense, personal opinion ye;) Tapi apapun, tak ramai wanita yang tak suka shopping tapi tak semua lelaki pun yang tak suka shopping kan. Kat sini saya nak kongsi antara petua Dato yang boleh kita praktikkan semasa shopping.

1. Buat list
Ni benda basic tapi ramai orang tak buat..tak tau la kenapa. Malas kot? Kalau selalu tak buat list ni, nanti beriya pergi shopping complex last-last beli benda yang kita tak perlu pun, dan benda yang kita nak terus terlupa nak beli..(alamak sendiri pun terasa jugak..huhu)

2. Makan dulu baru shopping
Yang ni saya baru tau! Tapi Dato cakap ni memang benar sebab ikut kajian, kalau orang yang lapar tengok apa pun cantik, semua dia nak beli. Kalau orang kenyang ni dah penat makan, jalan pun slow, mata pun ngantuk sikit-sikit jadi takla bernafsu sangat nak beli. Sangat la bagus petua ni. Ingat-ingat balik, kalau shopping ngan kawan-kawan pun selalunya kita jalan dan shopping dulu baru makan kan, sebab lepas makan dah malas nak gerak dan rasa nak balik je. Jadi kena la makan dulu lepas ni! Haha

3. Tuju kat kedai tempat kita nak beli barang dulu
Contoh la kalau nak beli handbag la kan, dah target dulu beg apa nak beli, brand apa, kat mana semua baru pergi terus kat kedai tu. Jangan tengok tempat-tempat lain lagi.

4. Bawa peralatan solat
Bawa sekali telekung ke atau apa-apa yang berkenaan. Boleh juga kalau tak bawa dan nak pakai telekung awam kat surau tu, tapi setengah orang mungkin rasa tak selesa dan setengah surau pula mungkin takde telekung awam. Jadi lagi selamat kalau bawa sendiri, tak pun memang pakaian kita dah bersih dan menutup aurat, pakai je pakaian kita untuk solat, kan senang. Jangan tak solat sudah la.

5. Singgah kedai buku
Setiap kali keluar shopping jangan lupa singgah kedai buku. Macam saya pernah cakap dulu `book is a lifetime investment'.. jangan pernah menyesal kalau kita beli apa-apa buku pun. Insya Allah berguna sampai bila-bila.

Jadi, bersempena dengan Year End Sale sekarang ni marilah kita mempraktikkan petua-petua menarik di atas okay. Nak beli barang ke baju ke kasut ke boleh tapi berpada-pada, jangan sampai membazir pulak. Nak-nak orang cam saya sekarang yang menganggur takde income sekarang ni..haha:)

Pity, an enemy

Assalamualaikum and good day.

Days at home gave me opportunity to do some reflections and observations on people around me. One of the thing that I realized is, some people always avoided other people during their weakest moments, maybe during depressions, when sick, suffering from diseases or others that made them think they are more vulnerable and fragile compared to others. These people refused to talk about their condition and always pretend that everything is perfectly fine, and try to live a normal life as before, like nothing had ever happened. But later I observed that it is not the pain that they suffered bothers them, it was actually the strange glances and pitiful eyes of others that they can't stand.

For me, I suggest that we try to treat them as we threat other normal people, and avoid shooting discriminating glances that can make them feel uncomfortable. It's a good thought to approach and ask about their condition, but these kind of people probably preferred it to be in a private way, let say a face-to-face talk rather than in front of a crowd.Or rather, they will seek for people that they are comfortable with and shared their feelings, problems and concerns that bothered them much.

Yes, some people could not tolerate pity at all. These are strong people that stand on their own feet and like to do things independently, without the help of others. Thus during hard time, I guess it's not hard to support them in the way that they prefer most.

Why I'm writing this is, I personally think that I would behave like these people when I face hard times.

My Bro's Big Day

Yeay, finally I've got myself a sister (in-law)!

Well, as most of my close friends are awared of, I was busy helping my family preparing for my bro's big day the whole last week. I even went back home as soon as I finished my FYP presentation! Alhamdulillah, praised to the Almighty that the wedding went well and my parents sleepless nights are paid off. This wedding is a pretty huge deal since it was the first in the family, and my parents being a total perfectionists did helped to complicate the whole proceeding (hehe). Nevertheless, the days were over and now we are almost finished transforming back our home into normal condition.

Here I would like to share some sneak peek of my bro's wedding, I just love to post wedding experience because it was full of joy and very beautiful too ;)

Beginning of the End

Assalamualaikum and good day.

Someone might be expecting this kind of post, the reflection of a recent unofficially graduated student.So this is my version of story.It may be brief yet meaningful and I dedicated this to all my friends and faithful readers out there.

Well, where to start actually?

Eventually I started as an EE student but ironically, this is the least course that I like. At that time, I don't even want to be an engineering student but as I always learnt as time goes by, I'm destined to be here and will be graduated here on time, Insya Allah. I also considered the experience I gained here are priceless and was the most important decision of a lifetime.

Here, in this university, I faced my ups and downs in life.

BEST AND WORST

I'd experience the best- I studied smartly and played hard and managed my time as good as I can. My grades are neither too good nor to bad, but enough to pleased my parents (I suppose). Luckily I started with quite good grades, thus it balanced out my CGPA until the last semester I was here. I joined lots of events and made lots of friends, and many became good friends and sisters whom helped me through thick and thin. These people helped me doing assignments and projects when I finished my meetings until 3 a.m everyday for weeks. They also made my day and the ones I share my rantings, ramblings and problems with. Some of my friends lost their loved ones while in university days, and many faced difficult situations with smiles and the spirit of fighters. I was inspired by them, I always be amazed with their abilities and strengths to face tough life, and commitments towards living a better life and never give up. The lecturers were wonderful too, really.

There were times when I got sick of too much meetings and commitments to fulfil, but eventually I just think about the impact of my in appropriate decision to others. And sometimes the meetings really cheered me up for the various attitudes of the members and heated discussions. The busy seasons were during my second year until the semester before I went for my internship program, and I survived with helps of people around me and of course, The Almighty. After internship, it was quite awkward for me for not being as busy as I used to be previously and surprisingly, I did missed those days. Thus, I filled my time by knowing and helping the juniors, and spending quality times with them. During my last semester I also had the opportunity to became a facilitator for the freshies that was quite rare for final semester students, but I decided to give it a shot. I tried to give my best and share my experience with them so they can learn and be prepared to lead campus life.

The worse got me too, although I think I'm a positive person who always tried to change bad times into valuable ones. I always being misunderstood, and I know I do misunderstand others sometimes. In my earlier days, I might be very stern, serious and bad-tempered. Sometimes I snapped back when people are criticising me. I expects other people works professionally and seek fo perfections in everyone, while not awaring that perfections are somewhat impossible. I got used of people commenting I've a slight bossy attitude, however I hope I'd portrayed it in a positive way. In my studies, sometimes I did get bad results for my tests and coursework marks. I 'd obtained `see me' scribbled on my papers a few times, even sometimes I did not show up at the lecturer's office for consultation hour. However Allah's still loves me, Alhamdulillah. Normally my end results were not as bad as I always imagine, thus I was and always convinced that my prayers and tremendous efforts are answered by the AlMighty. If it is not in the forms of what you desire, maybe in other means. It works for everyone, not only me. REALLY.

When I faced hard times, normally I would hold back and never show my weaknesses to everybody, but when it stayed in the heart way too long I did burst out. A few of my good friends had witnessed these, and I thanked you guys big time for being there for me. Really, you guys are my strength. By saying friends I don't only mean my immediate friends, but also my lovely seniors and juniors here. You all means so much to me. Sometimes I was hurt by the people that I knew too well, and many times I'd cried because of them. But at last I always convinced that they were never did those on purpose. Maybe they think its normal, maybe they think I deserved it. Or maybe they were too stressed up with personal problems that they found me to be their punching bag. Whatever the reason, I never hold any grunge against anybody. The best part is I do forgive and forget, and just live a new, a better life. That's it.I'm thankful for everything that happened, for better or worse. Allah gave me precious, invaluable friends around me all the time, what else could I wish for?

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

I might be cranky and annoying at times, but I did try to improve myself day by day. If you know me from day one I stepped my foot in the university, I think you would notice the difference as I leave the university for good, perhaps.

For my graduating friends, I hope we'll meet again sooner and frequent, and not just at each other's weddings. Haha. Do keep in touch, okay? Email pun jadilaa.. blog ke YM ke gtalk ke hehe. And for those who may concern, we have a very important mission to accomplish. Never let our family, high salaries, huge cars and big house fool us and later become our ultimate aim in life (Nauzubillah). Let strive all out and keep the high spirit!!

For my seniors, as you all had live your real life now, its time for me and the rest to follow your path. Thanks for the invaluable guidance and advice ( and many chocolates from Kak Shikin ;P), you guys rock big time! I think the tradition in my old school where the seniors and juniors as so closely bounded made me fully utilised my seniors in the university.Hehe and do pray for the best for us as we always pray for you.

For my remaining friends and juniors, jaga kampus baik-baik ye. Keep up the good work and strength and passion in living life, and NEVER GIVE UP! The tides of life will always come and go, just `hadapi dengan senyuman' (credit to Amie for mentioning this song to me sometimes ago, it was very nice ;). To those who will start their internship soon, best wishes for you guys. Spend time wisely since you'll have plenty of time compared to you being in campus, believe me. And whoever have blogs, do update frequently ya;) By the way, thanks Hani for your sweet thoughts..until we meet again :)

I'd also received a few gifts from my juniors and friends as a token of remembrance which I'll treasure for life.The spongebob keychain, the beautiful Labu Sayong,the hard covered 50 Wasiat Rasulullah saw untuk Wanita, the various video clips and many others. Thanks so much, I do love all of you.

And for those who will suddenly find yourself missing me, you know where to find me right?(mane lagi, this blog laa). Insya Allah I will try my best to constantly updating this blog and will never keep it dormant, at least not for a very long time.

This is just the beginning of the end, people!

Of Exams and Weds

Assalamualaikum and hye to all.


In the mids of hectic final exams and everything , I managed to squeezed myself out for a while to attend my dear cousin's wedding. This is the first wedding among my Wan's grandchildren thus it was considered very important to all of us, also it became the benchmark and good reference for the coming wedding very soon (my Mum really take advantage of this event ;P).


Also the interesting part was no caterer included in this wedding ceremony, all dishes were made, cooked, served and washed by ourselves, including the neighbours and the great belia group whom helped in serving and washing. Thanks boys, you guys helped a lot! The end result was everyone fell unconscious due to fatigueness that night, and myself had to rushed early the next day to catch my 9.30 am bus back to Ipoh.

I'm down in confinement period due to bad skin allergies. Thus I missed the most important event that I was ought and determined to participate since weeks ago. Nevertheless, kita merancang dan Allah merancang, tapi Dialah yang sebaik-baik perancang. I believe there's always concrete reason behind all this.

From morning I digged the latest news about the day, unfortunately too many websites are down (or is it the campus server???). I think both.

BERSIH website was down form morning, THIS also inaccessible since afternoon, let alone this and this. Even Malaysiakini live webcast pun tak dapat. Neither way, I tried to gather what I found for interested and alert readers.

Kalau kebebasan dan keadilan dianggap sebahagian dari maruah diri kita, sememangnya hari ini kita seumpama dirogol. Pertama kali dalam hidup aku melihat roadblock ditengah-tengah highway. Baru sebentar tadi aku lalu 2 roadblock di federal highway. Satu selepas toll Batu Tiga, Shah Alam dan satu lagi di Petaling Jaya. Member-member office aku kata di Damansara, Puchong, Sungai Buluh semunya ada roadblock dari tengah malam tadi. Kemungkinan besar di Selayang, Gombak dan kesemuanya pintu masuk ke KL juga ada sekatan jalan raya. Ini semua angkara kerajaan nak halang berlansungnya perhimpunan 100 ribu rakyat anjuran BERSIH.
Kenapa Pak Lah, UMNO, Polis, Kerajaan Barisan Nasional paranoid sangat?

Kenapa parti komponen BN tidak sertai BERSIH? Mereka tidak mahu pilihanraya yang tulus dan bersih ke? Bukankah itu motif perjuangan BERSIH?

KUALA LUMPUR: Motorists in the Klang Valley found themselves caught in traffic jams on Saturday because of roadblocks and traffic diversions.
Motorists going to work, running their usual weekend errands or returning home from the Deepavali holidays, found themselves crawling on highways and roads in Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas like Petaling Jaya.
According to PLUS Highway, traffic from the north along the North-South Expressway has been diverted to the Kota Damansara and Damansara exits as the Sungai Buloh-Jalan Duta stretch has been closed. At press time, no reason was given for the closure.
Meanwhile, police confirm that roadblocks have been set up at various major roads leading to Kuala Lumpur for security checks.

Ini bukan isu kepartian, ini soal keadilan.

Sudahlah nak mengajak rakyat Malaysia mendaftar mengundi pun payah, yang dah daftar pula tiada hak untuk mengundi calon yang mereka rasakan betul-betul layak kerana karenah dan manipulasi pihak yang berkepentingan. Jadi bukankah wajar kita menyokong perhimpunan aman untuk menuntut pilihanraya bersih dan adil ini?

Bukannya kita cuba melobi untuk pilihanraya ke apa, cuma menuntut SPR yang telus dan adil! Kalau di kebanyakan negara lain rasanya tidak perlu perhimpunan aman sebegini pun, kerajaan telah maklum tentang konsep demokrasi. Yang mana rakyat berhak memilih pemimpin mereka melalui proses pilihanraya. Negara kita negara demokrasi, bukan komunis/autokratik kan?? (err kan?although it doesn't seems like it nowadays..)

Teringat komen seorang pembaca dalam sebuah laman web tu. Kalau di England, perhimpunan aman macam ni siap dapat sokongan penuh dari pihak berkuasa. Polis yang tolong aturkan perarakan nak ikut jalan mana, nak belok jalan mana untuk memudahkan kawalan lalu lintas dan jaga keselamatan orang awam yang menyertai perhimpunan. Jadi saya rasa kita sebagai rakyat Malaysia, yang berpegang pada kepercayaan kepada Tuhan, kesetiaan kepada raja dan Negara, keluhuran perlembagaan, kedaulatan undang-undangdan adab sopan dan kesusilaan yang tinggi (rujuk Rukun Negara) lagilah wajar mendapat sokongan lebih lagi daripada mereka di England tu.
